About Deep Cleaning
A deep clean is what you book when a house has gotten ahead of you, or before a standard schedule starts. It is the clean behind the before and after photos on this site: the stovetop on the homepage came out of one.
Houses that have gone a while between cleanings, kitchens and bathrooms with real buildup, and anyone starting a recurring schedule who wants it to begin from a clean baseline rather than catching up for three visits.

What's Included
The heavier clean for buildup a standard visit will not shift: burnt-on residue, grout, baseboards and behind things.
Deep Cleaning
- Everything in a standard clean, done to a heavier standard
- Burnt-on stovetop residue worked off, not wiped around
- Oven and microwave interiors
- Baseboards, door frames and trim hand-wiped
- Tile, grout lines and fixtures scrubbed
- Buildup behind and around what a regular clean misses

How a Visit Runs
Tell Me What It Looks Like
Rooms, and honestly how long it has been. Photos help. Call or text (203) 963-0770 and it reaches me, not a call center.
Free Estimate First
Deep cleans are quoted before the work starts, never by the hour, so the number is agreed while the mess is still there.
We Work It Room by Room
My techs and I go through the house in order rather than skipping to what shows. If something is not right afterwards, tell me and I will make it right.
Questions We Hear
How is this different from a standard clean?
A standard clean maintains. A deep clean removes. If it has been a while, start with a deep clean and a standard schedule will hold it from there.
How long does it take?
Longer than a standard visit, and it depends on the house, which is exactly why I look at it first and quote it rather than guessing over the phone.
Do I need one before starting a recurring schedule?
Not always. If the house is in good shape a standard clean is fine to start. If it is not, one deep clean makes every visit after it quicker.
Old Waterbury kitchens and bathrooms are where deep cleans earn their keep: original tile, deep trim, radiators, and grout that has had decades to darken. Most of the deep cleans I book are in houses like that rather than new builds.
